Red Flags Rule Implementation Delayed

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) just voted to delay implementation of the
Red Flags Rule until August 1, 2009. The Academy, both independently and in
concert with the AMA, will use this time to continue to assert that
physicians are not "creditors" and should not be subject to the Red Flags
Rule.
