Boston Herald

State Senator James Timilty has refiled our bill, S. 1329, which would further restrict sun tanning salons. The bill provides funds through fees and permits to enable local boards of health to inspect sun tanning salons within their city or town. The Indoor Tanning Association has retained a Boston lobbying firm to fight the bill. The bill will have a public hearing before the JOINT COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC HEALTH on Wednesday, June 11 at 10 am in Hearing Room A-1. 3. Add: Attachments (see fact sheet and legislation).
